Am I really that short?
Granny had the right idea
cooking can be a messy sport Sometimes you have to take the lid off and grease goes flying Fashion be damned! Well... Not really But I'd really hate to mess up these jeans!
That is your greatgrandmother's cooking shift isn't it? So good to see it in use again. I think you may be as short as she was. Happy cooking! We are gong to the farm today, be back Sunday. I guess I should check the weather up there.
Mom I think it is-I've had for over a year now and use it quite a bit. The shortness...she seemed so tall to me when I was a little girl. Of course my head was about counter height for forever...Have fun at The Farm. Do you want another chihuahua? ;)
I already told you! Very chic, a little too grown up for the little belligerant girl we know and love, and I can't wait to see her look like a Fraggle!
That is not Evie! I'm not ready for her to look that grown up. The bathing suit in winter brings fond memories of my darling Eva when she was that age.
Quick, call the cops! Someone has stolen your kitchen cabinet doors! The horror!!!! :-) :-) :-)
I love the cooking smock. Fashion is thrown out the window when you're wearing something as cool as that thing! I need to start wearing something similar, now that I'm starting to cook a little. I just wear a towel over my shoulder for hand wipeage...but it doesn't prevent splatters!!
Nej alas it was I who stole my cabinet doors. They are in a closet waiting to be refinished. The smock thing I love! I bet you could find one of your very own at your local thrift shop. This one was my great grandma's so I know I'll eventually need to find another one-but I don't think they make 'em anymore, just aprons which aren't always enough. WAIT A MINUTE! Did you say you are cooking a little now? Stop the presses! I hope you are having fun with that!
YEAH I know...the world is coming to an end. Pigs flying outside your window. Oh wait....has hell frozen over? No, that's just the normal NE winter weather. :-) :-)
I'm cooking, a little. I can do it, I just don't enjoy it. The enjoyment of cooking is Tom's thing. Mine is the enjoyment of eating what he's cooked. :-)
I have a lunch/Goodwill date with a friend of mine next week...I'll have to wonder around and see if I can find one! :-)
DCN-I hate to think what I paid for the shirt and jeans. Bought on the same day, same store. We're talking mid 3 figures. Which is extremely unusual for me as usually I'm hardcore thrift and clearance rack only. The only thing to add is that I have had these now for...3 1/2 years. Using the smock really does work.

I'm partial to The Kid's bathing suit.
WG-that bathing suit is very cute but so not practical for cooking in. What do you think of her new short do?

Sadly and gladly that is her...she is way to growny now isn't she? She is very much her own little universe right now.
DUH Tif-you saw the first picture right away...my only excuse is chocolate cookie overload.

I love your shirt. And your jeans too. I understand the need to protect them from the grease.
