It must be the changing of the season. This happens to me about once a year it seems-probably from moving so much when I was a girl. Doesn't change the fact that I would love a humongous do over as I look around here.
Read Pandora's Seed - it is about how our change from a hunter-gatherer society to a more static agrarian then industrial society is the bane of modern man.
Okay. An ex-sister-in-law had had the experience of losing everything in a fire in the 1990's. And she had NOTHING bad to say about it. It was "shocking" and "terrible" at first (and she grieved) but after a few months she felt nothing but relief.
Peronaslly, there is much I would like to get rid of - it the whole "doing so mindfully and thoughtfually" that trips things up.
It's good to make sure everything goes somewhere without becoming garbage or possibly makes one a little money.
And this takes time/care.
But a fire just purifies and destroys and removes all problems.

Yep, I do the same thing, and it does usually come with a season change...at least, for me. Everything will balance itself back out soon!!!!
Hunter gatherer nomads. There could be some truth to that.
